Completed her under graduation from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital in 1995. She obtained her master’s degree in the specialty of Periodontics from Tamilnadu Govt. Dental College & Hospital in 1999. She is a Diploma holder in Laser Dentistry from IALD under Aachen university Germany. She holds a fellowship in laser dentistry from University of Genova. She has undergone advanced training in Implantology especially in computer guided surgeries. She received the “Best Dentist award” from The Honorable Governor of Tamilnadu in the year 2012. She was conferred the FICCI award for health care in 2013 as a recognition for successfully heading a dental chain in Tamilnadu. She is a member of ISOI (Indian Society of Oral implantology), ISP (Indian Society of Periodontology) and IALD (Indian Academy of Laser Dentistry). Has a rich 13 years of experience in teaching and guiding postgraduate students in the field of Periodontics and Implantology. At present is the Chief Implantologist and Laser specialist at Dentistree. She has been in clinical practice for the past 28 years, she has keen interest in the use of hard tissue lasers in periodontal plastic surgical procedures. She lectures widely on the use of lasers in Periodontics and Implantology. She is an accredited speaker of IALD and actively participates in the Diploma courses conducted by IALD.
